While addressing the gathering at the first death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, Asif Zardari confessed that he knew who killed his former wife. But he didn't find it appropriate to reveal the names or origin of the killers. This is quite disturbing given the fact that Zardari is the husband of late Benazir Bhutto and her party is in power. Why would Zardari not share this information with Pakistani people? Zardari's refusal to expose the identity of killers gives more credibility to a popular belief that some foreign countries (USA and India) had a hidden hand in Benazir's killing. Zardari should also keep it in mind that, by not exposing the killers, he will be seen as their protector by the Pakistani people.
