New American president Barrack Obama made his first kill on January 23, in the mountains of western Pakistan by allowing an air strike that killed 20 people.

As usual, US military believes that they have killed some "high value" terrorists once again.

This is a fast start for Obama as it has only been a few days since he took oath of the president of USA. He should not forget that such "high value" target killings have been going on for years with no result.

It is worth mentioning here that US military's drone strikes in eastern Pakistan have mostly killed un-armed civilians, rather than any Taliban and Al-Qaeda members.

These actions of US military are of great concern for Pakistani society, as most Pakistani's think they are aimed at forcing local people to support Taliban, which may be the real intention of Americans.

Many Pakistanis think Americans want to spread Taliban's territory into northern areas of Pakistan as part of their new cold war strategy against China, and possibly India.
