Benazir Bhutto died on 27th December, 2007. A wave of PPP sponsored roiting followed her death that caused a loss of billions of rupees to the people of Pakistan who were already suffering from the economic crisis.
People blamed Pervez Musharraf and his government for Benazir's murder. When Pervez Musharraf held Baitullah Mehsud responsible for killing Benazir, many Pakistanis simply refused to beleive him.
In the meantime, opportunists in PPP saw an opportunity in Benazir's death and started raising slogans of revenge and punishment for the culprits to gain maximum sympathy of people in upcoming elections.
The biggest opportunist was Asif Zardari, who presented a fake will by Benazir nominating him as the chairperson of PPP.
Their opportunistic approach paid off and they won the subsequent election which brought them into power.

Now two years have passed and Pervez Musharraf is no longer in power. Zaradri is the president and all his supporting opportunists holding ministries and other public offices.
But where is revenge? Where is trial and punishment for the culprits who they held responsible for Benazir's murder?

Two years have passed and there isn't even a proper investigation going on into Benazir's murder. All in PPP including Benazir's own family are least interested in catching the culprits.
Do they ever feel ashamed? They played with this nation and people's lives for their lust of power and they have forgotten everything as soon as they occupied power.
Ever since PPP came into power, their credibility has sunk so low in people's eyes that majority of Pakistanis believe that Zardari himself is Benazir's murderer.

Should we mourn?

Benazir belonged to a class of corrupt waderas who have been oppressing the people of Pakistan ever since Pakistan came into being, and even before that.
As if that was not enough, Benazir's last government from 1993-1996 is considered as the most corrupt government ever in Pakistan's history.
In a war where thousands of Pakistanis have been killed by the terrorists, is there any reason to mourn the death of the most morally and ethically corrupt person who has ever ruled Pakistan?
